| However, a Contracting Party not applying some of the UN Regulations listed in Annex 4, Part A, Section I may notify to the secretariat of the Administrative Committee that for these UN Regulations it is not bound by this obligation of accepting the type approvals issued in accordance with these UN Regulations as evidence of compliance for the respective equipment and parts.
