Single lamps as defined in paragraph 2.16.1. of UN Regulation No. 48,
subparagraph (d), shall fulfil the requirements of paragraph 5.6.2.1. Where two or more lamps and/or two or more separate apparent surfaces are included into the same lamp body and/or have a common outer lens, these shall not be considered as an interdependent lamp system. However, a lamp in the shape of a band or strip may be part of an interdependent lamp system. |
