On the front axle [DEL], the inflation pressures p shall be calculated as follows:

pref is the reference inflation pressure (250 kPa for standard-load and 290 kPa for extra-load versions, regardless of the reference pressure in the applicable standard);
Q is the average tyre vertical load on the front axle;
Qref is the reference vertical load associated with the load-capacity index.

On the rear axle, the inflation pressure shall be 220 kPa (for both standard-load and extra-load versions). The tyre pressure should be checked just prior to testing at ambient temperature and adjusted if required.
