Procedure of normal charge The normal charge is carried out with the charger and consists of the following steps: (a) Charging at constant power during t1 ; (b) Over-charging at constant current during t2 . Over-charging intensity is specified by manufacturer and corresponds to the one used during equalisation charging. The end of REESS charge criteria corresponds to an automatic stop given by the charger to a charging time of t1 + t2 . This charging time will be limited to t1 + 5 h, even if a clear indication is given to the driver by the standard instrumentation that the battery is not yet fully charged. |
