NaCMC represents the sodium salt of carboxymethylcellulose, customarily referred to as CMC. The NaCMC used in the dirt mixture shall have a degree of substitution (DS) of 0.6 0.7 and a viscosity of 0.2 – 0.3 Pa · s for a 2 per cent solution at 20 °C.
